11月11日至22日,《聯(lián)合國氣候變化框架公約》第二十九次締約方大會(huì) (COP29)在阿塞拜疆首都巴庫舉辦。11日，“生態(tài)文明與美麗中國實(shí)踐“邊會(huì)在中國角成功舉辦，聯(lián)合國前副秘書長兼環(huán)境規(guī)劃署執(zhí)行主任埃里克·索爾海姆(Erik Solheim)向邊會(huì)進(jìn)行致辭。索爾海姆表示，中國在環(huán)境保護(hù)方面走出了一條特色鮮明的道路，通過植樹、建立自然保護(hù)區(qū)保護(hù)瀕危物種、以及結(jié)合自然環(huán)境和文化遺產(chǎn)的保護(hù)，為世界其他國家提供了借鑒。他號(hào)召全世界攜手打造更美麗的地球家園。(陳天浩)

　　Erik Solheim, former UN Environment Executive Director and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations delivered a speech to a side-event at China Pavilion during the COP29 held in Baku, Azerbaijan on Monday. During the speech, Solheim noted that China has forged a path of environmental protection no one can copy. Through planting trees, protecting species, and balancing the protection of natural environment and cultural heritage, China set an example to the world. (Chen Tianhao)
