2024年是中國和馬來西亞建交50周年。馬來西亞國際伊斯蘭大學政治學者李佩敏在接受中新網專訪時稱，馬中兩國的合作已拓展到許多不同的領域，包括貿易投資、文化交流和能源等領域，雙方合作成果顯著。東海岸鐵路項目是馬中兩國之間最大的經貿合作項目，該項目促進了馬來半島東西海岸的互聯互通，也增加鐵路沿線的貿易、投資及旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展。(陳彩霞)

　　This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Lee Pei May, assistant professor of Department of Political Science at the International Islamic University Malaysia, noted that cooperation between China and Malaysia has expanded into many fields, including trade and investment, cultural exchange, and energy, yielding significant achievements. The East Coast Rail Link project, biggest economic and trade project between China and Malaysia, enhances connectivity between the east and west coasts and boosts trade, investment, and tourism development along the railway.
